There is something significantly magical about seeing a band live. I hadn’t been to a concert in over four years so winning tickets to see one of my favorite bands was surreal. I was lucky enough to be chosen by the House of Blues in San Diego via Twitter to win tickets to see Angus + Julia Stone. Unbelievable. Much like their show was. Everything from the congratulatory email from the HOB, to the amazing set was a dream. It felt too good to be true, and I was sure that once at will-call they were going to inform me there was no ticket for me – but there was. And a great time was had. I knew Angus + Julia Stone would be even better live, but somehow I was still mesmerized by how great it was. Thank you House of Blues San Diego for letting me be apart of something so beautiful.
